If you want to remove something from your life, there are two options- declutter it (donate, sell, toss, etc) or use it up. For my makeup collection, I've decided that the use it up option is the right one for me. I've already done some serious makeup decluttering to get rid of the stuff that's old, a bad formula or just not me.
This year, I'm embarking on a Pan that Palette challenge! I have two eyeshadow palettes that I want to work on using up. The first is an all matte palette by Tarte that I started panning last year. I love this palette but it is getting old and I'd love to use it up before it expires.
The second is a brand new colorful palette by Urban Decay. I love bold, bright colors and I'm hoping that by focusing on this palette, I'll be able to get out of my comfort zone and really go for colors. Since this palette is brand new, I'm just going to try and hit pan on every shade in the palette.
Wish me luck!

2016 Minimalist Makeup Collection
Today I wanted to share my minimalist makeup collection with you. As someone who loves makeup but also loves having a minimalist home, knowing how much to have is all about finding balance. While there are definitely smaller makeup collections out there, this is size that really works for me. And it's certainly less than a lot of beauty vloggers out there!
I hope you enjoy a peak into my current makeup collection. It's not perfect but I'm pretty happy with it's current size.
Do you have a smaller or large makeup collection? What's one makeup product that you can't live without?
